Jon Voight’s rants about Obama
4 09 2009There reason I am posting this morning is because while making my morning visit to youtube, I came across a video of Angelina Jolie’s dad. He pretty much voices his disapproval of where he thinks Obama is taking the country. He opposes a public health care system saying that US citizens do not want it. He has a right to his option and so do I.
He says that Obama is making this country into a socialist country, using examples such as the bailing out banks, bailing out the auto industry, stimulus package and the proposed public health care plan. I agree with him about the bank bail out, the auto industry and even the stimulus package but I disagree about including the health care plan into the bunch. Health care needs to reformed, period. Now, his plan isn’t that great but I like I mentioned in a previous post we have examples to look at and take from to make it better. We have to start some where.
Here’s the video from youtube, it’s a clip of the documentary I tried posting in a previous post. You can go to the you tube page and click on the link to see the entire documentary.
The stimulus didn’t work when bush did it so we already new the out come to that. This administration gave trillions to these banks who aren’t giving it back to the citizens. The auto industry got lazy and basically didn’t take the steps to stay competitive. But what do you expect from a country that doesn’t produce the best engineers, scientist and innovators. Could it be because other countries know the value of a higher education and even make it freely available to their citizens?
But anyway, he said something that bothers me. Basically saying that Obama is using the “God card,” to get his health plan passed. This is on FoxNews by the way. One I think that Obama is speaking to those who are “the religious” who seem to have this country by the balls. If you’re going to follow it follow it and not be selective.
What’s wrong with Obama saying that? Well, one could argue separation of church and state. We all know that’s BS, especially when “the religious,” lobby against a woman’s right to choose and gay marriage. That brings me to another comment he made, Voights says ” their taking away God’s first gift to man, our free will.”
OUR FREE WILL!! Well tell those, ” the religious” that God gave us free will and i think that includes women’s right to choose abortion and LGBT people right to choose get married
Here’s the Jon Voight’s rants about Obama

I LOVE B SCOTT
12 07 2009So I came across this video on youtube. For those of you who don’t know him, introducing B.Scott. This video is just what I needed to find. It’s actually a response video to BowBow’s reaction to a gay barber. I realize it’s old, but what BScott says is so relevant to what I’m dealing with and I sure many others can relate. Thank you BScott!

No to gay, 4th of July
6 07 2009So this weekend, I spent time with the family, as I’m sure many “American Famillies” did in light of July 4th. It was very pleasant until a younger cousin of mine went on a rant about all the gay kids in her school and how she can not even stand in the same room as a gay person. She says, they are all over the place. Someone else would chime in saying,” when guys go gay they’re gay forever, but with girls they just go through a phase of liking girls. I’m thinking to my self, “this is a long ass phase I’m dealing with.”
It’s terrible when your family has a conversation about their disapproval of gay people and you’re trapped in the closet, cracking the door thinking you’re about to bust out and be free. After that rant was over, I wanted to scream out “well I’m gay, now what!?”
Really, what would they do? I can imagine everyone’s jaw dropping followed by awkward silence and discomfort felt by all. At that point, I would have probably headed for the door.
I’m growing tired of tormenting my self for the mere comfort of others.

OUt of what? TP?
2 07 2009“I’m coming out.” What does this mean? A lot of things, but first it means that you’ve accepted yourself for who you are and that you are not ashamed of that person. This is my understanding of coming out to the world. So the question I often ask my self is, why is it so hard for me to accept my self and not be ashamed of me? I mean, I see others who are out and proud. I know people who are out and proud, yet I’ve allowed my self to live a double life. There’s the life in my head, where my true feelings and thoughts echo and there’s my painful reality, the one I live daily.
Now, I’m out to two of my friends. One of which is still in denial and though she is supportive, i find myself constantly reminding her that I’m interested in women. This especially occurs when we’re out at a bar or club and she’s baiting me, to get drinks. Her mantra, ” I’ m married, but she’s single!”
My other friend is up and down gay. He doesn’t even have to announce it to anyone. Most of my friends are straight and mildly conservative . I’m the rambunctious one, believe it or not.
Anyway, I’m always working on my self and though I’ve grown over the years, in the matter of my sexual preference, I have wasted a lot of time because of fear. Oh it doesn’t help to hear about LGTB people getting beaten. Even with that, believe or not, I’m more afraid of my family’s reaction, especially my mother. My mother is wondering when I’m going to settle and give her a grandchild.” The clock is ticking,” she says.
Yes it is. One of my goals is to fully come out.
